When a female lion is about to have a sexual intercourse, a male lion should be ready for a war. Since a male lion should give a full satisfaction to the female lion, we not taking about 3-5 time of mating but 50 or more mating's.
A female lion heats up every 15 minutes for 3 days which is needed for 3-5 lion males to satisfies this female lion.
